Sip and enjoy as you learn about the historical significance of the plaza and the Templo La Cruz. Our walk into Centro begins at this point so please come wearing comfy shoes and with an empty stomach.
Wind and eat your way through the bustling stalls of Centro's most famous market, Mercado La Cruz. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the heart of downtown's culinary world. Many of the ingredients used in the food on this tour come from this market. Make sure to have your cameras ready as photo ops are plentiful!
We'll explore the beautiful architecture of the buildings in this plaza and learn about how the birth of Mexico's fight for independence began here. You'll also learn about the most famous love story that took place here and how it relates to the engineering feat of Queretaro's aqueduct.
We will have a brief stop here where you will get to know this beautiful theater and what makes it an important building in Mexico's history.
