About this experience

See three Castles around Cardiff in one day.

Starting with Caerphilly Castle, the largest Castle in Wales. After exploring the Castle, you will be taken to the magical Fairytale Castle, Castell Coch, nestled in the hills to the north of Cardiff, overlooking the Welsh Capital.

Depending on how long you spend at Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch, you may be taken to Llandaff Cathedral, where you can visit this impressive 900 year old Cathedral. Finally, you will be taken to Cardiff Castle in the heart of the city, where you will be left to visit the Castle, and independently explore the city centre and its Victorian arcades.

You will be free to explore Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch & Llandaff Cathedral independently in your own time and at your own pace returning to your driver in your own time, who will be ready to move on when you are.

We are unable to accommodate luggage on this tour, and each person will be limited to one backpack / small bag

Built in the 13th Century, Caerphilly Castle is the largest Castle in Wales, famous for its water defences, and its leaning tower.

Built by Gilbert de Clare to control the local population, construction of the castle was opposed by local Welsh rulers who attempted (and failed) to destroy the castle whislt it was under construction. It's impressive water defences have been described as "the best water defences of any castle in the UK"
