About this experience

The Tacchi d’Ogliastra are limestone-dolomitic formations that cover a base of shales and whose name originates from the typical conformation similar to a shoe heel. They develop south of the Gennargentu chain and in their southernmost part (Ussassai / Seui), they also take the name of Tonneri. This excursion takes place in the Ulassai area where the Heels reach a particular majesty. A medium difficulty route suitable for the whole family, which goes through a mule track and cart track with an arboreal covering made up of oaks, strawberry trees and other shrubs and herbs typical of the Mediterranean scrub. A green paradise where the karst phenomenon has artfully created a set of walls, tunnels, cracks and caves, one of which will be the subject of our visit. Don't forget the camera to capture breathtaking panoramas!
