The historic center has been inhabited since the 6th century BC. by the Greeks who mastered the first urban layout that still exists today. Most of the ancient remains have been incorporated into newer buildings or have been discovered underground. The pedestrian areas full of small shops and workshops, cafes and restaurants, street artists and street vendors, attract locals and foreigners every day. In this context, a taste of the locals' food is a must.
