Detailed itinerary

Stop 1 Pass by

We start the tour from Athens, the capital of Greece. It was also at the heart of Ancient Greece, a powerful civilization and empire.

2

Livadia is a town in central Greece. It is the capital of the Boeotia regional district. Livadia lies 90 km north-west of Athens. The most characteristic feature of Livadia are the countless traditional Greek taverns serving tasty local meats.

3

Thíva is a city in Boeotia, Central Greece. It played an important role in Greek myths, as the site of the stories of Cadmus, Oedipus, Dionysus, Heracles and others. Archaeological excavations in and around Thebes have revealed a Mycenaean settlement and clay tablets written in the Linear B script, indicating the importance of the site in the Bronze Age.

4

Delphi was regarded as the centre of the world. In legend previously called Pytho, in ancient times was a sacred precinct that served as the seat of Pythia, the major oracle who was consulted about important decisions throughout the ancient classical world. The Temple of Apollo was known as the Oracle of Delphi and is part of the Panhellenic Sanctuary and occupies a remote, but central location relative to Greek settlements. The Omphalos of Delphi is an ancient marble monument that was found at the archaeological site of Delphi, Greece. The Temple of Athena Pronaia was a temple at the ancient site of Delphi, in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, a group of buildings comprising temples and treasuries as well as the famous Tholos of Delphi. The Castalian Spring is found close to the Oracle of Delphi. In the ancient times, it was believed that this spring had cleansing waters, thus it could cleanse the souls of the visitors to the popular Temple of Apollo, located just 500 meters from it.

5

Arachova is a mountain town and a former municipality in the western part of Boeotia, Greece, originally called Karyai. Its modern ski resort, its close proximity to Athens, and its breathtaking mountainous landscape are the strongest reason why.
