About this experience

The green valley of Soca river is a very well know destination for visitors from all around the world. The road will take you through the highest mountain pass in Slovenia - Vrsic, and then through Trenta Valley and Bovec. The immense beauty of nature and emerald river will leave you speechless. Final stop will be in Kobarid, where you will also visit the 1st world war museum and learn about important part of history in this region. Soca valley was one of the most important fronts in that time and even Hemingway himself wrote about it in his famous „Farewell to Arms“.

Starting from Ljubljana we will take the road via the highest mountain pass in Slovenia – Vršič to the Trenta Valley. But first we will stop in Kranjska Gora, well-known winter ski resort.

Stop 2

Next stop will be in Bovec, a lovely town where we will have some free time for lunch and individual activities. The tour will then continue to Kobarid, where we will visit the First World War Museum. After the visit we will take the road to Kozjak. A 30 minutes walk from Kobarid through a green forest near Soča river will bring us to one of the most picturesque waterfalls in Slovenia – the Great Kozjak. Full of new and amazing impressions in the middle of the nature we will end the tour and return back to Ljubljana.
