I have spent lots of time in Port Isaac, including listening to the Fisherman's Friends singing sea shanties with a beer in hand. I will take you on a walking tour of the village, including the locations used in filming both "Doc Martin" and the Fisherman's Friends movies.
See Doc Martin's surgery, Mrs. Tishall's pharmacy, Louisa's school and cottage, Bert's restaurant, and all the other key locations. Visit the village pub used in both shows - maybe even stop for lunch? Stand on the Platt where the shanties are sung.
We also visit the tiny coves at Port Quin and Port Gaverne, which also feature as filming locations.
The tour can be extended to a full day on request to include visits to places such as Tintagel, Boscastle or Bodmin Moor. There would be an additional charge to extend - please feel free to ask us about this.
Pickup included
We will drive you to the village and then take you on a walking tour of all the key locations. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs and stop for refreshments.
A brief stop at the tiny cove that also features in Doc Martin. Known as "the village that died" - hear the sad story behind the name.
Location of the police station in Doc Martin as well as other locations, a charming little cove with a great pub and bar
