You will be picked up directly from your hotel with an air-conditioned transfer vehicle and taken to the airport. Your German-speaking tour guide will meet you at the exit of the arrival terminal after you land. From there you continue by air-conditioned vehicle to Dahshur, which is about 30 km south of Cairo and houses 15 pyramids from the 4th - 13th dynasty. You will also visit the so-called Bent Pyramid of Sneferu, which is considered the turning point in pyramid construction and the template for the Great Pyramid of Giza. After a typical lunch, you continue to Memphis and Saqqara, where the alabaster sphinx and the colossal statue of Ramses II are located. The Saqqara necropolis is one of the most famous burial sites in Lower Egypt, along with Giza. After an exciting excursion into Egypt's past, your guide will bring you back to Cairo airport, where you will finally begin your flight back to Hurghada.
