On this shared tour, we invite you to embark on a full day of Traditional African Culture and Animal Wildlife to Lesedi Cultural Village and Lion Park.
Lesedi Cultural Village is situated in the heart of the African bushveld within the Cradle of Humankind. It is here that visitors will discover the fascinating cultures and traditions of the people of Africa, visiting five traditional homesteads inhabited by Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele tribes who live according to tribal folklore and traditions of their ancestors. Visitors will also be entertained by traditional cultural dancers in their traditional attire. Lunch will be enjoyed in the Nyama Choma restaurant at Lesedi.
Take a safari game drive in a shared open 4x4 game truck at Lion and Safari Park. This is a thrilling 1.5-hour mini safari drive where visitors will see lions, hyenas, wild dogs, cheetahs, and leopards. We will enter into the lion and wild animals enclosures, antelope safari area and the three hyena species.

After pick up at guest's accommodation we will travel to Lesedi Cultural Village for approximately 1-hour. On route, our tour guide will share stories and historical information about the areas we will be passing through.

Begin your full-day tour with a uniquely African cultural experience, interacting with local tribes including the Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Basotho, and Ndebele people. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about their heritage through storytelling, music, singing and tribal dancing.
Lunch can be enjoyed in the Nyama Choma restaurant which serves buffet dishes from North Africa, East Africa, and South Africa. (Lunch is for visitor's own account.)
After an optional lunch, we will return to Johannesburg for drop off at accommodation.

The Pretoria Zoo is home to a wide variety of animals, including rare and endangered species. The zoo offers educational programs and conservation initiatives.
Braai is a traditional South African barbecue, featuring grilled meats such as boerewors (sausage), lamb chops, and steak.
Bobotie is a sweet and spicy minced meat dish topped with an egg-based custard. It is often served with yellow rice and chutney.
Bunny Chow is a hollowed-out loaf of bread filled with curry, typically made with chicken, beef, or beans.
Melktert is a traditional South African milk tart, featuring a sweet pastry crust filled with a creamy, custard-like filling.
Spring and autumn offer mild weather, perfect for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The city is also less crowded during these seasons.
