Stop 1

This tour to Hell’s Gate National Park begins with pickup from your prescribed location at 7a.m. Your professional guide keeps you entertained with fun facts about Kenya from a cultural perspective to its world-renowned flora & fauna as the premier safari destination, with a break to get views of the Great Rift Valley from a scenic overlook along the way.

Upon arriving in the park at roughly 9am, begin a 4-hour, guided bike tour: watch for herds of Thompson’s gazelle, and, zebra, and hartebeest as you ride. An excellent scenic park with its incredible cliffs & entertaining for birding as is home to more than 100 species of birds, including Verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzards, swifts & its cliffs are the roosting/nesting place for the Ruppells vulture.

On foot continue to the park’s distinctive gorges, where narrow passageways and caves are sunk into sedimentary rock. This walk will take about 40-60 minutes. After head for lunch (own expense), then proceed to Lake Naivasha.

Stop 2

For an additional fee of US$25 per person, you can explore Lake Naivasha wildlife on a 1-hour boat tour. Spot the hippos that linger just at the surface of the water and see some of the diverse birdlife; Kingfishers, Egrets, Cormorants, the African fish eagles, African spoonbill, and little grebe are all common here. While on the boat spot many animals on crescent island as you circle on its shores as well as breeding grounds for the Great white pelicans. At 4pm, begin the return trip to Nairobi, and finish the day with drop-off in Nairobi at roughly 6pm.
