It was declared a Cultural Heritage Monument of Colombia in 1978 due to the preservation of its late 18th century Spanish architecture. On your tour of approximately three hours, you’ll discover a place of tranquility, silence, and extraordinary beauty, where every street and every corner is worthy of yet another stunning photograph to be shared with the world.
Taking you to the most important streets, such as Calle Real. Along with the most significant Churches, including the Cathedral of Barichara, the Chapel of Santa Barbara, and the Church of the Risen Christ. You’ll be making a stop to enjoy a delicious coffee, and discovering different viewpoints.
Walking its streets you’ll come to understand how this beautiful town was created as a result of the Spanish conquest. With the mixture of cultural and architectural traditions.
