The 2-day train tour to Machu Picchu is an ideal way to explore the legendary Inca citadel while enjoying some downtime in Aguas Calientes. Your journey begins in Cusco, followed by a transfer to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes—also known as Machu Picchu Town. The day before the tour starts we will have a small meeting to explain all the details, give you the tickets and coordinate the exact time of pick up. Please contact us two days in advance to arrange a meeting time and place.
Please note that the tour does not include dinner on day 1 and lunch on day 2 and it is not possible to board the train with luggage over 5kg or suitcases. We recommend that you use the luggage locker service at your accommodation in Cusco.
