To explore the history of caves, we provide you a professional driver with guidebook and entrance tickets in advance (Without standing in the line). so that, you will spend more time in the caves and understand the history.

Ellora caves are known for its carving, sculptures which is dated to 6th century. These caves offers a tremendous experience of man made monument.

Daultabad fort (Devgiri) is an magnificent hill, built in 12th century. It is the only fort in India which is excavated on single hill. The defensive system is an interesting infrastructure here.

Bibi ka Maqbara is a tomb of wife of Aurangzeb (The last Mughal king). This mauselous was built to show the love and affection towards the Mughal architecture. It is a replica of Taj Mahal in Agra.

Ajanta caves are known for paintings which showcase the life of Buddha since his childhood.

Detailed itinerary

Start the tour from your hotel at 7:30AM or depends on the time of your breakfast at hotel which can be extended till 9:00AM. Our professional driver will greet you at the reception and start the journey towards Ajanta caves.

Stop 2

Ajanta caves are 3 hours away from Aurangabad at the distance of 110Km. The road construction is going on this road .Hence, it will be a bumpy ride. Guests need to carry air pillows or similar for their back in case if they already have any problem.
Driver will drop the guests at the parking of Ajanta. Guests need to take shuttle bus from there which takes 10 min to reach actual site.

Stop 3

Once you reach the Ajanta caves complex. You can have tea/coffee or just a beer at MTDC restaurant to get refreshed. After that, you can hire a licensed guide at cave number 1 (Charges are not included) which is way cheaper than hiring in advance. Later, start exploring the important caves and we will also give you important tips before visiting the caves.

Stop 4

Return to Ajanta ticket counter, you can have veg or non veg food here with beers (our driver can also suggest the best delicious restaurant nearby) then take a shuttle bus back to caves parking and meet our driver there.

Start the journey back to Aurangabad by the same road. Will take 3 hours to return. Our driver will drop you at the hotel.

Start the journey by pick up at your hotel at 8:00AM. Proceed to Ellora caves with private AC car.

Once you reach Ellora caves, start exploring on your own. There are three different groups of caves which belong to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism. We will be available on call service if you need. We will provide you tips before visiting the caves and its complex.
For visiting Jain caves, you can take a shuttle bus inside the complex or go by walk (1.5KM)

While coming to Aurangabad, you will see a magnificent fort known as Daulatabad Fort (originally it was Devgiri fort). In case, if you are not tired, you can explore the fort watching cannons, victory tower, huge walls, temple etc. until middle view point by passing through a dark passage (Adventures part). If you are not exhausted, visit till the top view point to see the mesmerizing view and later, start the journey towards Bibi ka Maqbara

Stop 9

Visit the Bibi ka maqbara which is oftenly described as mini Taj Mahal. This place will fulfill your day of sightseeing.
Return back to hotel.

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is a must-visit Hindu pilgrimage site, revered as the 12th and final Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Its location is in Verul, less than a kilometer from the Ellora Caves UNESCO World Heritage site and near Aurangabad.
