About this experience
The Houseboat backwater programme has been designed for those who like to visit best canals in and around Aleppey . The houseboat make a trip thorugh the below beautiful rivers and canals with an hour lunch break. . Houseboat makes a trip through some of the beautiful villages in Aleppey. These are Kainakari Village and Kuttithod and boat reach a place called Kuttamangalam.
We provide 1hr country boat to experience the narrow canal called Kuttamangalam canal where houseboat cannot make a trip. This 1hr trip gives breath taking scenic beauty of the local village, paddy field etc.
After an hour of this country boat trip, houseboat start moving towards its final location for halt. The boat halt between 1730hrs and 1800hrs for overnight stay.

This Church one of the oldest, famous and mother to all the other catholic churches in alleppy. This church is believed to be built in AD 400. There are many ancient artifacts and Inscriptions which proves the same.
