We want to share with you a definition of museum in which we believe a lot, so as to understand what a visit to MuA can mean:
It is a place of sharing, learning and education for the community and the community, through events, exhibitions, workshops and courses. It is a space without borders or barriers in which anyone has access to content, activities and stimuli.
A space for everyone, therefore, a place where each of us can and must find ourselves. A meeting and sharing place where archeology, history and art are not only themes of exhibited objects but rather a vehicle and a stimulus for the creation of relationships and a critical spirit.
The Civic Museum is organized with a tour that includes 3 different areas: one dedicated to the archaeological collection, one dedicated to the collection of the artist Franco d'Aspro and one dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
At the museum you can find a space where you can consult books and magazines in a dedicated room or outdoors in the outdoor area; there is a bookshop where you can find books on archeology, art and literature for adults and children in multiple languages.
