We will stroll along the picturesque alleys of the historical center to know about its history and traditions.
A tasty treat is reserved for you in the end: a typical "caffè speciale/ special coffee" made in Polignano or a delicious artisanal gelato.
The guided tour will start from the Marchesale Arch, we will admire part of the ancient city walls and the Marchesale Palace, residence of the Lords of Polignano.
Stop in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele where the Clock Tower and the Main Church stand out.
We will explore the alleys of the historical centre and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Lama Monachile bay and the coastline from the panoramic balconies.
We will walk along Piazza San Benedetto and Via Muraglia, and getting out from the old town we will pass nearby the Traiana Road, and cross the Bourbon Bridge, which offers an exclusive landscape of the marina.
The tour will end at Domenico Modugno Promenade, where it is placed the statue in honour of the famous singer known all over the world for its song “Nel blu dipinto di blu – Volare”.
At the end of the tour you will be offered the "special coffee", the famous coffe of Polignano, prepared with almond liqueur, cream and lemon zest or a delicious artisanal gelato.
