Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Let's start with the most iconic monument in the Eternal City

2
Stop 2

You will see the maximum circus and the enchanting view of the Palatine Hill

3

The first terrace we will visit on this tour, from one of the most hidden gardens in the center of Rome

4

In this square you will find a large gate, in front of which there is almost always a line of people looking inside a peephole. What will he hide?

5
Stop 5

The basilica, the result of the expansion under Pope Hadrian I (772-790) of a previous place of Christian worship attested since the sixth century, was the subject of a major renovation in 1123 and is currently one of the rare examples of sacred architecture of the twelfth century in Rome. is known for the presence in the narthex of the Mouth of Truth

6

The km 0 of the Eternal City. Here you will see the monument to the unknown soldier and the Victorian complex.

7
Stop 7

Admire the iconic fashion staircase leading to Piazza di Spagna. The church of the Trinity of the Mountains.

8

The second panoramic view of the tour offers a glimpse of the most famous in Rome. With a direct view of the "Cupolone" of San Pietro and the splendid Piazza del Popolo at its feet.

9
Stop 9

One thing not everyone knows: Position yourself in the center of the wall, the one opposite the Pincio, right where the fountain is, and have the other person put on the corner of the end. You both speak facing the wall, making sure that no one is resting on the same side: it is as if he were speaking a few inches away.

The echo comes from the semi-circularity of the wall that allows you to chat without raising your voice. It would be better to take advantage of the 100 meters of the wall but to achieve the effect even less is enough. It will be another experience to add to the many that can be done in the eternal city that always gives surprises and great emotions, including history, culture, curiosity and special effects.

10

The castle and the prison used by the popes, enclosed between the Tiber and the Vatican

11
Stop 11

Welcome to the smallest state in the world and one of the most representative squares of Renaissance art with its colonnade, perspective and majesty of one of the most beautiful Basilicas in the world

12

We arrive at the last panoramic view of the city, this is on the opposite side of the Tiber. Here, every day at noon, the famous cannon that towards the end of the 1800s allowed the city of Rome to adjust its clocks is fired.

13
Stop 13

The fountain, or fountain, of Acqua Paola, also known as the Gianicolo fountain, is a monumental fountain located on the Gianicolo hill, in Rome. Built as a terminal exhibition of the Trajan aqueduct between 1610 and 1614 at the behest of Pope Paul V, the "Fontanone" assumed its current appearance with the renovation carried out at the end of the seventeenth century by Carlo Fontana.

14
Stop 14

The only one of the four major basilicas that lies outside the Aurelian walls. Simple but impressive.

15
Stop 15

Rome lacks nothing, not even the pyramids. This funeral monument dedicated to Caius Cestius is well preserved.
