The underwater landscape of Curacao is one to discover! Go on a snorkeling expedition to the 3 most beautiful snorkeling sites on the east coast of Curacao. Here you'll snorkel in open sea twice among many sea creatures who have made the shipwrecks their home. Also land inwards, where the water is shallow and calm, many coral formations have formed, giving shelter to an abundance of sea creatures.
Here you can snorkel in open ocean and see the overgrown wreck of a sailboat. At this spot, being close to the Dolphin Academy where dolphins are allowed to swim to open ocean, you may possibly spot dolphins in open sea while snorkeling here.
The famous Tugboat in Caracas Bay is our second snorkel spot. This 9 meter long wreck is covered with coral, sponges and surrounded by schools of colorful fish. It’s a site to see!
The third snorkeling spot is the pier of Caracas Bay. In shallow water you can swim among an abundance of fish, coral and other marine life. You can even go underneath the pier to see different formations of hard and soft corals. It is truly a spectacular snorkeling spot!
Catamaran BlueFinn will come to the pier of MOOD, which is the first beach club located on the far right (when facing the water) on the Mambo Beach strip. Please be on time, at least 15 minutes before departure.
