About this experience

Keep an eye out for wildlife, such as egrets, herons, and warblers overhead, along with mangrove crabs hiding among the roots. Upon exiting the mangrove tunnel, you’ll be enchanted by the crystal-clear emerald waters of the lagoon, ideal for a refreshing swim and snorkel over the sandy bottom and mangrove roots. Your journey will proceed to Punta Caribe Bight, where you can admire charming houses perched over the water and snorkel an inshore reef filled with a few coral heads, turtle grass and tropical fish. After your kayak tour, take some time to relax with a swim in the lagoon, and if desired, you may request lunch stop at one of the local waterfront restaurants, at your own expense.

Kayak and snorkel in calm, clear shallow waters of the mangrove lagoon and make your way to the inshore reef at Caribe Point where you will see a variety of juvenile fish among the mangrove roots, sandy bottom and reef patches. Your guide will offer snorkeling & paddling instructions, he will also point out the marine life and the diverse mangrove ecosystem. This tour includes a single kayak, paddles, and snorkel gear. You may stop for lunch at one of the local seaside restaurants in the area. (lunch cost not included)
