About this experience

Climb the tallest peak of Mount Raya at 881 meters while joining this tour. Climbers are best positioned to experience Gunung Raya's impenetrable rainforest habitat, formed atop the 220-200-million-year-old granite foundation. Wildlife species include monkeys, squirrels, hornbills, lizards, and geckos. Those who choose to drive are still likely to see monkeys, hornbills, and other bird varieties in the dense leafy jungle from lookout points along the road. Also enjoy Durian Perangin waterfall . The name is a result of the tall durian trees that grow in the forests near the waterfall. Spare yourself the hassle of wrangling transport and negotiating with boatmen on this comprehensive sunset mangrove tour. Cruise through the mangroves on the Kilim River as you learn about this delicately balanced ecosystem. Along the way, see eagles being fed, explore caves full of bats, visit a floating fish farm, hand-feed stingrays, and enjoy lunch.

Stop 2

ravel by boat through the twists and turns of the Kilim river through the maze created by aerial roots and thick fleshy leaves of the mangrove trees. We often see mangrove animals that make their home in this delicately balanced ecosystem which is responsible for the health and wide variety of species in the Andaman Sea. We also explore how the mangrove area is a perfect environment for cottage industries such as fish farms. Our first stop is The boatman will stop the engine and throw some chicken pieces out into the water to invite the eagles. And in no time you will see eagles diving down just next to you and clawing up the chicken pieces and eating them as they soar into the sky. As we venture out of the mangroves you will see majestic limestone rock formations and sea stacks that rise dramatically from the ocean.
