Dataran Lang conveniently called as the Eagle Square, celebrates these majestic birds of Langkawi. It is an iconic statue located on the southern part of Pulau Langkawi, on the Kuah Jetty. The Eagle Square has an impressive 12 metre tall statue of a red backed Eagle standing on a blue star shaped platform. It is surrounded by forest covered mountains on one side and the open Andaman Sea on the other. With its wings spread, the Eagle of Dataran Lang looks ready to soar into the sky.

Stop 2

Tanjung Rhu is a popular beach in the north-east of Langkawi island in Malaysia. The beach is nice and cozy, though it doesn't look like a perfect tropical paradise. Shore and seabed: sand.

EAGLE NEST SKY WALK

Eagle nest skywalk is the new sky bridge on the first stop while you ride up to the mountain.
Nestled on peak of the Middle Station is a new attraction named Eagle’s Nest SkyWalk emulating an Eagle head looking over the Nest. The new attraction is located 650 meters from sea level, structured on a 38 meter free standing cantilever glass platform which at one time can be accommodate about 300 people with an equivalent of 21 tons.

SkyBridge
SkyBridge story

Measuring at 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curve suspension bridge and constructing it was not an easy feat as the solutions had to factor the following critical elements; structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of bridge and on site installation.

The entire bridge, in all its elements had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled to its current position.
