About this experience

Explore the stunning landscapes of Tanzania with Airbus H130 helicopter tours, based in Usa River just outside of Arusha. Thanks to the support of Tanzanian National Parks (TANAPA), Tropic Helicopters have been granted a provisional permit for helicopter operations in TANAPA Aerodromes and for evacuations off Mount Kilimanjaro in partnership with the Mount Kilimanjaro Rescue Team.

Embark on the ultimate Mount Kilimanjaro adventure with our exclusive helicopter tour! Your journey begins with a luxurious minibus transfer to Arusha airport, where you'll board a helicopter for an exhilarating 1-hour flight over Mount Kilimanjaro.

As the helicopter takes off, you'll be treated to panoramic views to the East, soaring over the city of Arusha before reaching the Mount Kilimanjaro region. Throughout the flight, marvel at the various climbing routes to Kilimanjaro, capturing the awe-inspiring Uhuru peak, all while skirting the magnificent mountain range.

One of the highlights of the tour is a landing at Kibo point, where you'll disembark to enjoy a delightful snack and bask in the breathtaking views from the mountain's summit.

As the day concludes, you'll board the helicopter for a return flight to Arusha airport. Upon landing, a luxury minibus will be awaiting you, ready to transport your group of up to 6 people back to your hotel.
