Монастырский комплекс Нораванк был построен в XIII веке на уступе узкого извилистого ущелья реки Амагу. Ущелье славится отвесными красными скалами, возвышающимися за монастырем. Во времена правления князей Орбелянов монастырь стал крупным религиозным центром, а в XIII -ХIV веках - резиденцией епископов Сюника и, соответственно, крупным духовным, а затем и культурным центром Армении, тесно связанным со многими местными учебными заведениями – прежде всего, со знаменитым университетом и библиотекой Гладзор.

Потом направимся к монастырю Татев и станем пассажиром самой длинной в мире канатной дороги "Крылья Татева".Татевский монастырь – исторический памятник IX века, один из древнейших и известнейших монастырских комплексов Армении, жемчужина армянской архитектуры. Гармония монастыря и окружающей его природы создает потрясающую атмосферу, перенося посетителей в те давние века, когда Татев был одним из важнейших духовных и академических центров Армении.

Обсерватория Караундж Или Зорац Карер, Возвращение В Ереван
В 200 км от Еревана, у г. Сисиан, находится доисторический памятник, состоящий из сотен вертикально поставленных больших камней со сквозными отверстиями в верхней части. Он расположен на горном плато на высоте 1 770 м над уровнем моря и занимает площадь более 7 га на левом берегу ущелья речки Дар, притока р. Воротан.
