About this experience

Experience the exciting Hot Air Balloon ride over the river Nile and Egypt's most famous ancient monuments in the West Bank of Luxor for about 30-40 minutes flight. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below. All transportation to and from the launch site is included for a door-to-door experience.

Detailed itinerary

Begin with an early morning pick up (around 4:30 am, depends upon the availability of the sunrise flight) from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. Drive by an air-conditioned car towards the river Nile to cross to the West Bank on a motorboat followed by another vehicle transfer to the Balloon port (take-off area), where you are going to start your incredible Balloon ride, sharing a group of other passengers.

Board the balloon basket and listen carefully to your guide/pilot who will explain the safety instructions. Take 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country's landscape and famous landmarks such as; the Ramessum Temple,The Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple and the view of the Colossi of Memnon rising from the nearby fields. Be sure to capture the best moments of the sunrise over the Theban Necropolis mountains.

Later on, drive back to Luxor where your experience ends with a drop off at your Hotel in Luxor.
