About this experience

Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with a hotel pick-up. With only 20 guests, enjoy a personal and informative tour as we head to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, arriving by 8:50 AM. Take a boat cruise on Hartley’s Lagoon to witness thrilling crocodile feeding, followed by free time to explore the park's wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, and more.

At 11:35 AM, your guide will pick you up for a journey on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and 2 stops to get off and explore the rainforest. We will meet you at the terminal and transfer you up to the Kuranda village, explore its vibrant markets, galleries, shops and cafes, or opt for the wildlife experiences.

At 3:30 PM, board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for a scenic trip through the rainforest, past waterfalls and through tunnels. End your day with a sunset stroll along Palm Cove’s beach, enjoying a drink before returning to Port Douglas at dusk.

Hotel pick ups begin at 8.00 am to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures

On arrival at 9.00am you can chooses: Crocodile Farm Tour or Cassowary Feeding
9.30 am a lagoon cruise to feed crocodiles from the boat
10.00am: Snake Show
11.00am: Crocodile Feeding
Spend the rest of your time exploring the park and see friendly Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombats, Monkeys, Snakes and more with a complimentary morning tea.
At 11.35 am the tour will pick you up to take you to Skyrail and you will arrive at midday.

Stop 3

At midday embark on a fascinating journey of discovery with Skyrail Rainforest Cableway over and deep into Australia’s Wet Tropics World Heritage Area that has survived against all odds to become the home of the world’s oldest rainforest story.
Enjoy a truly unique perspective of this ancient landscape; glide metres above the pristine jungle canopy before descending to explore the rainforest close up.

Wander the shops, markets, galleries, enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafes and great restaurants. (at your own expense)
Visit the Butterfly Sanctuary, Bird World full of friendly tame birds or pop into the Koala Gardens and have your picture taken with one!! -these are at your own expense

Stop 5

board the historic Kuranda Scenic Train, one of the most spectacular rail journeys in Australia travel through the rainforest enjoying breathtaking scenery, waterfalls and tunnels.
The tour guide will be waiting on the platform at Freshwater station to take you to Palm Cove which is only 30 minutes away.

Stop at stunning Palm Cove.
I will show you along the palm fringed Esplanade before joining you for a sunset cocktail/wine/beer/soft drink (at own expense) overlooking the picturesque beach.

At 6.30 pm we arrive back in Port Douglas where we begin our hotel drop offs, for those that wish to be dropped in Port Douglas centre for dinner just mention this to your guide.
All additional time on the tour is allotted to transfers and travel in the bus.

Important note the remaining 1 hour and 50 minutes will be allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.
