Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Begin your experience and make your first stop at the fascinating archaeological site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan
Bronze Age settlement that was destroyed and buried by a major volcanic eruption some 3,600 years ago. Stroll
around the semi-crumbled, multi-storied buildings with your archaeology-expert guide, and view the frescoes, pottery
and other relics as you hear how life would have been here centuries ago.
Of particular interest is the ingenious drainage system that testifies to the sophistication of the engineers of the time.
Many speculate that this timeworn site is home to the remains of Atlantis, a mythical city that was described by Greek
philosopher Plato. ( Please noted Entrance fees is 12 euro per person )

Stop 2

The Red beach is one of the most scenic and interesting beaches on the island, located near Akrotiri village. The reason for its popularity is its colour.Red Beach is without a doubt worth a visit considering that it is a rare sight, probably unique in the whole world, where red is the dominant color. It is enclosed by steep red hills that create a captivating, wild scenery. If you stand on the top you will set eyes on enormous volcanic rocks situated in the sea, small pebbles and sand of various colors, mainly red, all along the beach and appealing dark blue waters. This wonderful palette of contrasting colors will mesmerize you. Another natural marvel the volcano created. We stop here only for photos.

3
Stop 3

Over the centuries, the molten rock from various volcanic eruptions hardened and then eventually broke down due to erosion. Today, beachgoers can lounge in the warm sand, rent a sun chair, and in general enjoy the beauty that the unique color of this sand creates. Here we can have lunch or coffee and shopping.

4

We will visit a modern winery. Here, in this state of the art winery, we will see how Santorini people are producing the wine with the latest techniques and using cutting edge methods. A tour around the vineyards, will give you a unique and close up view of the grapes and the special land of Santorini, then a tour around the facilities of the winery. After that, the fun part of the wine tasting will take place. Wine and local snacks for pairing. Inform us of any kind of allergies.

5

You will admire the magnificent view of the volcano and Thirasia island and also you will have time for photos.

6

It lies around 30 minutes by road from fira, and it will truly overwhelm you since it is indeed astonishing. The main road divides it into two territories: the one, towards Caldera, has impressive underground edifices, while the other is adorned with captain-houses (capetanospita). At the settlement’s side lies the castle, with its remaining parts offering unique views of the infinite blue and the famed sunset.
