The first stop is Zica monastery which is recognizable with its beautiful red facade. This place used to be extremely important in medieval Serbia since the monastery became the center of autonomous Serbian Orthodox Church in the XIII century. From that time starts the tradition, that all Serbian kings have to be crowned in this glorious monastery.

3

Between two stops, you will enjoy a magnificent landscape during a ride through a Valley of the kings. If you pay close attention you can spot the remains of the marvelous Maglic fortress which is another attraction in this area. This medieval fortress overlooks this historic valley and still stands as a monument from ancient times.

Following river Ibar, through beautiful landscapes, you will reach the UNESCO site- 800 years old Studenica monastery. This great and glorious place will certainly impress everyone, believer or atheist, Christian or not.
