Bergamo is really a beautiful town not far away from Milan: by funicular we will go up to the medieval town of Bergamo through a picturesque valley. We will walk to the ancient town center and see the following:
1)The cathedral of Bergamo for its from 13th to16th. century architecture, you will see important paintings of Lorenzo Lotto and other famous Italian 16th century paintings and some tapestries as an excellent example of "Barocco" style church.
2)Then we will step inside the chapel of Captain Colleoni, a 16th century amazing mausoleum and chapel wanted by captain Colleoni to celebrate his power.
3)We will proceed to the ancient city tower for a panoramic view around the valleys of Bergamo.
4)We will walk to the City castle, a 15th century fortress looking at the panorama around.
