About this experience

This tour provides great personal experience in super small groups of a maximum of eight people. Due to the small size groups, our guests are given a personalized and intimate tour in which they have enough time and freedom to ask as many questions as they want. The tour also gives enough time for the photos of each site and its surroundings and guests may adjust the times spent at a certain monument according to their needs and desires.

The tour provides a great orientation experience for those who just arrived in Rome. However, our passionate story-tellers make this tour a unique experience also for those who have already seen the major sites and are looking to see Rome in a different way, "from the inside".

The guide explains the story behind the Trevi Fountain, it's historical significance, meaning of throwing the coins into the fountain. Guests are free to admire and wonder around the sight.

Explanation of the square and the Temple of Hadrian

The guide introduces S. Ignatius of Loyola and briefly explains why the church is important.

Stop 7

Explanation of the story behind Bernini's elephant.

Stop 8

History behind the Pantheon and it's artisic and arhitectural importance.

Stop 9

Stroll down the square while the guide explains the meaning of the fountains and their historical significance.

Stop 10

Presentation of the square it's function throughout the history and presentation of the character whose statue is in the middle of the square.

Stop 11

Presentation of the square, palace and the fountains

Guests listen to a romantic story behind the Turtles Fountain on the square and the history of Jewish Ghetto.

Stop 13

Guide walks with the guests towards the Piazza Venezia while making the history come alive. Once at a square, the Vittoriano, a symbol of united Italy is explained.

At this point the modern Rome meets the ancient one while looking at the ruins of the Roman Forum from Via dei Fori Imperiali.
