This private walking tour is offering you a glimpse into the hotspots from a famous TV show Sex and the City. Your private guide will take you to the locations featured in the show. Some spots will include Carrie's Apartment

Our tour will also include the visit to the Buddakan where the legendary Carrie & Big's rehearsals dinner was featured. We also will visit the iconic Magnolia Bakery and try favourite cupcakes of our Sex and the City characters.

The final destination is the Oniel's bar AKA Scout which is known as the bar owned by Steve and Aidan in the show. Here you can enjoy some drinks and imagine yourself been part of the Sex and the city show.

2
Stop 2

Discover one more iconic place and recognize the famous scene when Carrie and Aidan had their conversation about engagement. Beautiful fountain and sculptures of Columbus Circle, a traffic circle located at the intersection of Eighth Avenue, Broadway, Central Park South, and Central park West.

The circle is named after Christopher Columbus, a marble monument to whom is placed right in the center of it. The monument is installed atop of 21-meter rostral column with sculptures of the great navigator’s vessels.

This epic place fits a heartbreaking final scene of the season four, especially at night with its lights on!

3
Stop 3

Visit the iconic location of the show where 19-storey luxury Plaza hotel has become the landmark of NYC because of the Sex and the City show. It was opened in 1907 and was featured many times in the show. However, the unforgettable scene was at the end of season 2 when Big broke Carrie's heart while hosting his engagement party with Natasha.

The Plaza Hotel will take you back to the moment when Carrie asked Big why he would not marry her and the memorable quote from the 1970s drama The Way We Were.

The visit to the Plaza is the first step to dive into the story of the characters and live their feelings with them. Our tour guide will recommend taking some tissues since some crying moments are guaranteed.

4
Stop 4

Don't miss a national historic landmark in the heart of Manhattan. This is the epicenter of everything New York and the best in fashion, art, design, and dining

5
Stop 5

Get to the green oasis amid the bustling concrete jungle. Located between 5th and 6th Avenue, it offers a great place to have a rest on green lawns surrounded by monumental high-rises.

The park was opened in 1847, replacing the cemetery where the homeless and criminals were buried. It was named Reservoir Square after the Croton Distributing Reservoir, which supplied water to the whole residents going all the way from the Catskill Mountains. In the late 1880s, the reservoir was replaced by New York Public Library with Bryant monument nearby.

You may recognize the place as it is associated with Carrie’s wedding.

6
Stop 6

Ever wonder where Carrie Bradshaw’s beautiful and glamorous apartment is?

Walk around the block and discover the home of Carrie in Greenwich Village. It is a fashionable residential neighborhood of New York, which attracts not just tourists but also Sex and the City fans.

Enjoy strolling the tree-lined streets and seeing the luxury townhouses and sweeping stairways. A big diversity of eateries and shops will make you spend quite a bit of time there.

7
Stop 7

The legendary apartment of Carrie Bradshaw where exterior scenes were shot at 64 Perry Street. Nevertheless, this spot has its history. For example, the owners of the residence have moved the number from 64 to 66, and they also encountered some long disturbances and property invasions from the Sex and the City fans. However, Carrie Bradshaw's address in the show is 245 east 73rd Street with the glamorous gigantic closet, indeed this rent-stabilized apartment was in the West Village. Nonetheless, the 66 Perry street has become on the main hotspots of the show and the owners even had to ask tour buses not to stop in front of the residence as well as blurring out the image of the house from the Google Maps.

8
Stop 8

Discover the fascinating architecture of Jefferson Market Library and see the place where Miranda got married.

Built in High Victorian Gothic style, the structure is one of the most beautiful buildings in America. Marvel at its high original clock tower, and hear the story about its being on the verge of tearing down, but it survived due to a group of community preservationists.

Remember the scene of Miranda and Steve saying “I do” at a lovely sight nearby the Library. The marrieds-to-be call it a “pretty, but not corny” location for their low-key wedding.

9
Stop 9

Even though the Magnolia bakery was shot less than a minute on season 3 of the show, it still became the cultural phenomenon for the Sex and the City fans. After the clip from the show where Carrie and Miranda ate cupcakes outside of the small corner at Magnolia Bakery. The original location of the bakery at Bleecker Street has started to be the tourist and fans favorite spot to come back to the episodes of the legendary show in real life.

The Sex and the City gave the Magnolia Bakery the popularity and in the years since the company started to expand to more than 20 locations all around the world.

(Optional, if time allows)
Oniel's has become known for being a part of the HBO Sex and the City TV Series. The bar stood in for SCOUT and owned by Carrie and Miranda’s ex-boyfriends, Aidan and Steeve. The bar proudly claims that it is famous for being the replacement for that “casually hip” bar. The main feature of the Grand Street Bar for any Sex and the City watcher is the interior and furniture design that Carrie made for her first boyfriend Aidan.

The interior mostly consists of dark, shiny and hand-carved wood, but most importantly it feels like the bar was specifically built for the show and Aidan. The fans of the series would confirm this claim if recall Carrie’s quote upon her first time looks at the SCOUT: “There was no sign for him, but he was everywhere. In the mahogany bar, wood floors, carved ceiling. The whole place looked and felt just like Aidan.”
