We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Moshi, Arusha or upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha airports in a clean airconditioned vehicle and drive short distance to Maasai village.
Maasai community live in small mud-thatched villages, surrounded by their cattle and smaller livestock. For hundreds of years the Maasai have roamed these lands of Tanzania a nomadic lifestyle. A highlight of your Kilimanjaro climb or safari vacation is a visit with these Maasai people. Many of the tribal villages welcome visitors to their villages to view up close their culture and lifestyle. On this day trip you will have a special opportunity to experience with Maasai Community.
At the village, you will experience many traditional aspects of Maasai life, All visits are planned and arranged by the Maasai themselves; they will show you their traditional Maasai dance, beads, making fire, ornaments, some bush techniques & medicine and you can also walk with their cattle on the plains.
After a visit in Maasai village your trip continues to the Chemka/Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The ride to the hot springs takes about 40 min and leads partly over bumpy slopes, Upon arrival at the hot springs we will have Lunch and then Enjoy a wonderful afternoon in just the way you want, in the sun dozing, chatting with the locals at the small bar, or swimming - you determine the course. We leave the hot springs in the late afternoon (just before sunset) and return relaxed to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.
