We'll walk you, for about two hours, through the archeological site: the once biggest river port of the Roman Republic first and empire then, a walk that will show you the complexity of a commercial city founded by king "Anco Marzio" and flourished until the very last days of the Empire.

Known as "the Borghetto": a charming medieval village, dating back to the 9th century a.D, with its perfectly preserved 15th century "Giulio II castle", built on a Michelangelo design, to help the papal state control the trading on the river Tevere and defend the farmers from the raids by the Saracens. Then we'll have an Italian GELATO just outside the medieval walls.
We'll meet you just outside "Ostia Antica" railway station (Roma Lido line).
Entrance ticket to Archeological Park is not included and customers are asked to purchase it at the Park ticket counter: do not worry we will assist you during the purchase.
