Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

This is definitely one of the most popular tours in Sarajevo; Probably because of famous Tunnel of Hope and the fact that this was the longest siege in modern warfare. On the way to our first destination, our guides will give You an introduction, show You Sniper Alley, memorial to brutally murdered children, and other important war related objects. Then we will make a first stop to visit Tunnel of Hope Museum, digged by ingenious and brave citizens of Sarajevo. When we get there, You will see big map of Sarajevo under the siege to see enemy lines, You will watch 17-minutes long movie and take a look inside the Museum exhibition. Highlight of this destination is 25-meters long tunnel You will walk through to experience the struggle of Sarajevans during the siege. After this experience You will have short break, if requested, to make some pictures and to discover the place on Your own.

2

After the Tunnel, we continue from Federation entity to Rebuplika Srpska to our next stop - Olympic Mountain Trebević where we will enjoy stunning view of the city from 1230m above the sea level. The guests will be shown enemy lines and told the war stories. This is a great location to make some really beautiful photos of the whole city.

3
Stop 3

Life is full of adventures, so be ready for the Bob Track from Winter Olympic Games hosted by Sarajevo in 1984, but on Your way to get on beginning of the track, You will have amazing view on the Cable Car that was reopened on 6th April 2018. While walking on the track, You will understand why the track is one of the most beautiful abandoned places in the world and definitely a “must see”! Your guide will be ready to take some crazy cool photos of You.

4

The last stop will be the Jewish Cemetery, the second largest in Europe and a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage title. This cemetery was the battleground between Bosnian Army and Serbian forces during the siege, so this will be one of the themes as well.

5

One of the most important memorials in Sarajevo is dedicated to 1621 murdered children of the city. Memorial looks very interesting, and makes You think about its meaning. It made of bronze and glass, and the sculpture simbolizes a mother trying to protect her children and the bronze ring simbolizes strong round line of defence.
