Get picked up from your hotel between 5:30am and 6:00am and head to the community of Lago Piuray, close to the town of Chinchero (about one hour in transit). You’ll begin your adventure here, at an altitude of 11,800 feet (3600 meters).

The trek begins with a 3-hour walk upwards, until you arrive at Piuray passage at a height of 13,400 feet (4,100 meters). Get rewarded for your efforts with beautiful panoramic view of the Urubamba mountain range and small lagoons down below.

Continue the adventure with a 2-hour journey down to the Huchuy Qosqo ruins, a beautiful Inca city built in the Sacred Valley. The ruins’ name in Quechua means "Little Cuzco." Your guide will lead the group on an exploration of this magical archaeological site, after which you’ll finish with some time to enjoy an included box lunch.

Then make a steep 2-hour downhill descent to the town of Lamay. Your transport service will pick the group up and drive you to Cuzco, where our trip will come to an end between 5 and 6pm.
