Once in Bacalar, you’ll embark on a memorable boat ride across the lagoon, often called the “Lake of Seven Colors” for its breathtaking turquoise waters. After a delicious breakfast and a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Cenote Azul, we’ll head to Balneario El Mármol, where our private dock awaits. There, we’ll board a spacious and comfortable pontoon boat for a scenic two-hour journey across the stunning Bacalar Lagoon.

As we cruise through the lagoon’s famous shades of blue, you’ll enjoy the unique natural beauty that makes this destination truly unforgettable. We’ll take time to swim, relax, and connect with nature in this peaceful paradise.

After the boat ride, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, choosing between a flavorful seafood or chicken dish, freshly prepared with regional ingredients.
To wrap up the day, we’ll pass by the historic Fort of San Felipe, built to defend Bacalar from pirates, and stop at the colorful Bacalar letters for a perfect photo opportunity.

Stop 5 Pass by

Knowing this fortress and its history goes back to the times of pirates, (all the pirates loved the Caribbean Sea) an exciting journey through history especially for those who really appreciate the history of pirates and colonization. The fort of San Felipe is the center of the magical town of Bacalar, from there you can see the beautiful Bacalar lagoon that reaches 63 km there is excellent to take some beautiful photos, and you will have free time to walk through the downtown.
