Detailed itinerary

1

After meeting at Kowloon Station, we will go by subway to Lantau Island. We will enjoy the views of the great bridges of Hong Kong, the port, its super populated areas and a terraced cemetery.

2
Stop 2

We will enjoy for 25 minutes a cable car ride with 360 degree views of the mountains and waterfalls, from where we can see the bridge to Macau and the airport. We will choose the cabins with glass floor for an unforgettable experience.

3
Stop 3

We will climb the 268 steps that will take us to the base of the Giant Buddha where we will receive his blessing and learn about its history, the teachings of Buddhism, the meaning of offerings and spirituality in Hong Kong.

4
Stop 4

We will visit one of Hong Kong's most important and ancient Buddhist temples: the Po Lin monastery and the 10,000 Buddhas hall. We can light incenses and make wishes, or simply admire its impeccable architecture.

5

We will have free time to buy souvenirs and have lunch in the beautiful village of Ngong Ping (lunch not included). We will meet again to take a bus to our next destination.

6
Stop 6

We will visit an old fishing village famous for its palafitos, fishing culture and dry products. We will explore its narrow streets where we can take amazing photos, taste traditional meals and live the atmosphere of a very authentic place. On a quiet boat ride between the palafitos, we will have the opportunity to see closely the bridge that connects Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai, and if we are lucky, say hello to the pink dolphins!
