The complex is one of the largest and oldest complexes in Marrakech.
It was built by the Saadian dynasty under the order of Sultan Abdellah al Ghâlib from 1562.

After the hammam, visitors rest and have tea with authentic Moroccan cakes in Riad Mouassine, a real Riad with fountains in the middle, for a real immersion in the local culture.
