About this experience

A magical summer night walk in arctic nature, in Finnish Lapland, takes you to experience the midnight sun, a nightless night when the sun does not fall below the horizon. The sun just bounces off the horizon at midnight and continues its journey. Summer night in the north is a bluish-green, serene world, with tranquil lakes, silent forest, misty bogs, and this magical summer night light. Once you’ve been on a summer night walk in Riisitunturi fell, you’ll never forget it.

Riisitunturi National Park is known for its landscape, which opens up in all directions from the top of the fell. First, you’ll walk through the old spruce forest and follow the path up to the top of the fell. Your guide tells a lot of stories about the nature, culture, and history of the north. You'll have some night snacks by the campfire. After midnight, you’ll leave behind nature that never sleeps in summer.

This experience is also possible in Oulanka National Park or Valtavaara Nature Reserve.
