Stop 1

You will visit the most recognized amphitheatre in the world, the Colosseum, as well as exploring the ruins of the Forum and Emperor’s House. In the company of a local and very knowledgeable guide you will be transported back to Ancient Rome.

Inside the Colosseum your guide will tell you tales of the gladiator fights that used to take place and tell you fascinating stories of the colorful characters who played central roles in the history of this magnificent amphitheatre.

Stop 2

Walking up the paved road towards the Forum you will be treading on the same cobbles stones as did the Ancient Romans 2000 years ago. As you look upon the ruins that surround the Forum your guide will tell you interesting facts and anecdotes bringing the whole place to life. You will see temples, courthouses, the Imperial Palace, the Altar of Julius Caesar, the Arches of Constantine and Titus and so much more.

Stop 4 Pass by

YThe Arch of Titus is a 1st-century AD honorific arch, located on the Via Sacra, Rome, just to the south-east of the Roman Forum. It was constructed in c. 81 CE by the Emperor Domitian shortly after the death of his older brother Titus to commemorate Titus's official deification or consecratio and the victory of Titus together with their father, Vespasian, over the Jewish rebellion in Judaea.

Stop 5 Pass by

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome, situated between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill. It was erected by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine I's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312. Dedicated in 315, it is the largest Roman triumphal arch.The arch spans the Via triumphalis, the way taken by the emperors when they entered the city in triumph.

At the newsagent in front of the Colosseum Metro Station Exit - ground level (there is only one exit, just in front of the monument) street address is: Via dei Fori Imperiali, 21 00184, Roma. Your tour guide will be holding a sign with your name.

Directions: By cab: taxis will leave you on the upper level of COLOSSEO Metro Station. Go downstairs, reach the ground level and wait for your guide by the newsagent.
