The tour starts by visiting Prophet Elias monastery for panoramic view and the village of Pyrgos, one of the most picturesque villages of the island

The tour continues to Akrotiri settlement excavations. The excavations at Akrotiri have uncovered on of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. The settlement was one of the major cities and ports of the aegean. It was a crowded city of 20 acres with a remarkable social structure, public roads and multi-storey buildings. Until today the excavations have revealed only a part of the prehistoric settlement. Nowadays, the Archeological sight of Akrotiri, gives visitors the opportunity to admire and walk through the sheltered settlement

Then you will have free time at the red beach for some great photos

Perissa black sand beach comes next. You will have the opportunity to swim at this black sandy beach (smooth sand), to shop around or enjoy the traditional Santorinian cuisine for your lunch
