Koh Tup and Koh Mor together with Koh Gai (Chicken Island) are connected by a sandbar called “Talay Waek” (“separated sea”) where you can walk through during low tide. Tup Island is much smaller than the other islands in the group, however it has a nice beach and the waters that surround it provide an excellent spot for snorkeling with an abundance of tropical fish.

Chicken Island is also known as Koh Gai or Koh Hua Khwan. Koh Gai received it's more commonly known name as Chicken Island because of a large rock formation that resembles the head and neck of a chicken. Phra Nang is part of the Railay peninsula and local people visit the cave to make offerings to the Princess Goddess or Phra Nang, who is believed to reside inside the cave. The mystery and legend behind Phra Nang have been living with the local people for centuries. The cave is a sacred place, and everyone visiting must treat this place with respect. Boatmen and fishermen offer incense and flowers to the symbolic Phallus of Shiva. They believe that these offerings will ensure their safe travel and bring them good luck in their fishing.
