Enjoy this 10-hour small group Winter tour of Nami Island, a strawberry farm, and Garden of Morning Calm Winter Light Display. Get away from the busy city and enjoy the beautiful scenery at these popular destinations.  You may also recognize Nami Island from the popular Korean drama "Winter Sonata." In between sites, visit Chuncheon to enjoy the city's world famous Dakgalbi (spicy stir fried chicken).

Note: You will not have to worry about being brought to overpriced ginseng/amethyst centers as this tour is compulsory shopping free.

Detailed itinerary

The day will start with pick up from your hotel between 9:00am and 10:00am via a 9-passenger vehicle. From there, we will make the approximately 1.5 hour drive to Nami Island (entrance fee via ferry included).

The first stop will be a strawberry far, Strawberries are a popular Winter fruit in Korea. You will get to experience picking your own basket of strawberries to keep.

Stop 2

From there, we will head to Nami Island. Nami Island is famous for being a shooting site of the hit Korean drama "Winter Sonata." It is also famous for the scenic tree lined roads that offer spectacular views of autumn foliage, but the scenery is beautiful year round. There are also fun activities available such as zipwire, bike riding, electronic car tour, and many more. These activities are optional and not covered by the standard entrance fee. 

After Nami Isand, head over to Chuncheon City to try the city's world famous Dakgalbi dish (spicy stir fry chicken). Non spicy and other meal options are available for all types of dietary restrictions as well.

From there, head to the nearby Garden of Morning Calm. Garden of Morning Calm to check out their spectacular Winter Light Display Festival. The Lighting Festival is the biggest festival of lights in Korea, covering 100 thousand pyeong illuminated by 30,000 lights. The gleaming lights add a festive glow to the garden during the winter season.

Finally, the tour will end with drop off at your hotel.
