Stop 1

Once you meet the guide you be explained the history of Warsaw Ghetto, Polish Jews and the holocaust. You will see the Polin Museum architectural idea, Ghetto Heroes Monument and the area of the Jewish Ghetto.

Krasiński Palace is one of Warsaw’s finest Baroque palaces, built in the late 17th century for the powerful Krasiński family. Designed as a grand city residence, it features an elegant façade rich with classical sculpture and symbolism. Today, the palace forms part of the National Library complex and is best admired from the surrounding Krasiński Garden, that we will walk throughout.

The Warsaw Uprising Monument is a dramatic bronze memorial honouring the 1944 uprising, showing insurgents rushing into battle and disappearing into the city’s ruins. You will hear some thrilling history in here!

You will see the actual birthplace of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, widely known as Madame Curie - first female Noble Prize winner.

In Warsaw Old Town, you will see colourful reconstructed townhouses, narrow cobbled streets, and lively squares crowned by the Main Market Square and the Mermaid statue. The area is framed by medieval walls and the Barbican, anchored by St. John’s Arch cathedral and the Royal Castle overlooking Castle Square.
