Wulong Karst Geographic National Park is the second tour attraction inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO in Chongqing, the first one is Dazu Rock Carvings which mostly dedicates the cultural and historic side of Chongqing. This National park pretty much represents the natural side of this enormous city in western China. After Transformer IV was filmed in here, it's now becoming a super hot spot and the very first must go site in Chongqing.

Get started from downtown Chongqing at 0730, that would helps to avoid rush hour and buy us more excursion time. After 3 hours driving we'll arrive at the tourist reception center.

Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here.

After a 10 min bus ride we get to our primary site-natural born triple bridge.

The admission fare covering both Wulong Geological National Parkand the interior shuttle bus ride is 155 yuan per adult.

Chongqing-Wulong 192 km 3 hour's driving.

Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actually a grand valley throughs 3 ridges with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. It's also the only site listed on World Heritage List by UNESCO.

We firstly will take an 108 meters high cliff side viewing elevator to get down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape.

The walking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

Afterwards we take the shuttle bus back to reception center and will get our lunch in a local family hostel, default lunch menu will be medium spicy Chongqing roasted fish and some other oganic fresh local mountain food, not fancy but quite available and tasty.

After lunch we'll drive all the way back home.
