In the morning, the tour guide will pick you up from Tirana and start the journey towards Mount Sari Salltik. Enjoy the guide’s insights and a scenic ride along a panoramic mountain road to visit this holy site, which holds great significance in the Bektashi faith. Perched at 1,176 meters above sea level, the cave shrine offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After visiting Sari Salltik, continue to the historic city of Kruja, where the guided walking tour begins at the Old Bazaar—one of the oldest and largest in Albania, filled with traditional souvenirs and handicrafts. The guide will provide explanations during the walk, while free time for shopping will be available later.
Next, proceed inside the Kruja Castle, strolling through its ancient walls and learning about its history. From the outside, the guide will introduce you to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s national hero, as well as the Ethnographic Museum, the Turkish Bath, the Skanderbeg Olive, and the castle’s secret entrance.
Free Time / Lunch
After soaking in the culture and history, enjoy your free time to explore the Old Bazaar, take photos, visit the museums, or have lunch at your own pace.
IMPORTANT: During off season November- May most of the museums may be closed on Monday.
In the afternoon, return to Tirana.
