The Aburi Botanical Garden is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Ghana. Established by the English colonialist in the then Gold Coast in 1890, it boasts of some of the rarest tropical plants in the world. The garden also have a collection of celebrity trees referred that way due to the array of famous people that planted them. Some of them include Queen Elizabeth II of England among several others.
