About this experience

This 4-hour guided tour provides a great opportunity to see the very best of the sites which Rome has to offer. There really is something for everyone; from the ruins of Ancient Rome to the buzz of the modern city.

Stop 1

Upon leaving the Colosseum, you’ll see the Arch of Constantine and take a walk to the Forum, the main square and the hub of life in Ancient Rome. Here is the location of the ruins of the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, the Basilica of Maxentius and much more. The ruins reflect the blend of political, religious and social activity, for which the Forum was a focal point.

Stop 2 Pass by

One of the best known and most recognisable landmarks of the modern city is Il Vittoriano; the monument built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II. This imposing marble monument is affectionately known as the “Wedding Cake” by the locals. A short walk away is the Quirinal Palace, official residence of the current Italian President.

The tour will move next to see a gem of the Baroque period; the intricate, breathtaking Trevi Fountain. You will then join the crowds at the Spanish Steps, take a wander to Piazza Navona with its stunning fountains and walk through the narrow streets to the Pantheon.
