About this experience

Explore the perennially popular Sea Point Promenade. Unofficially known as Cape Town’s favourite walkway, this flat, scenic walk is beloved by joggers, dog-walkers and families. This is a great spot for a sunset stroll and features breathtaking ocean views and a healthy dose of fresh sea air.

Your guide is a proud Sea Point local and a history boffin who’ll guide you through the Sea Point Promenade’s hidden histories and contemporary attractions. Discover why Darwin decided this spot was worth a visit on one of his famous geological expeditions. Enjoy some quirky local sculpture and public art. While the beach here isn’t the best for swimming, take a dip in the popular Sea Point swimming pool.

The tour is ready whenever you are and the audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smartphone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline.
