The day starts with the pick up at the accommodation by 7:45 am with a stop at the Graça Market to buy the necessary products for the preparation of lunch (fish, vegetables and fruit, wine and regional bread).
Stop in Vila Franca do Campo, where you can sample a Queijada from Vila Franca, these queijadas are an old convent sweet whose recipe was created by the nuns of the Convent of Santo André. Very appreciated, they have as main ingredients the milk, the eggs, the sugar, the butter and the flour of wheat.
Arriving on the banks of the romantic Furnas Lagoon, it is time for the chefs to show their skill in making lunch!
After finishing the culinary tasks, a tour begins around the Lagoa, with end in the parish of Furnas, where you will be able to bathe in hot springs, in the Poona da Dona Beija.
Return to the Lagoa das Furnas, to the zone of the caldera, where you will attend to the unearthing of the lunch, that will be served in the zone of the snacks in the margin of this beautiful lagoon.
After the lunch ritual, a brief stop at the Pico do Ferra Mirador, where you can be dazzled with a panoramic view of the Furnas Valley.
On the way back, along the north coast of the island, you will stop at the Gorreana Plantation and Tea Factory, the only one of its kind in Europe, to taste a 5 o'clock cup. Stop at the viewpoint of Santa Iria where you can have an exuberant view on the green slopes that go towards the sea. Return to accommodation.
