From Ponta Delgada follows to the south coast of the island. On the way stop at the viewpoint of the island of Vila Franca do Campo - the first capital of the island - then visit the factory of the famous Queijadas da Vila, typical sweet of convent origin where you can taste this sweet (optional)
When you arrive in the Furnas Valley, you can enjoy a thermal bath in the Poona da Dona Beija or Parque Terra Nostra (entrance fees not included). Departing for the romantic Furnas Lagoon, you can participate in the "baking of Furnas", which will be served for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit the boiler area, with fumaroles and springs of thermal and mineral water where you will proceed to your test. Ascent to the viewpoint of Pico do Ferro, where you have a superb view over the crater that surrounds the Furnas valley.
Departing from the Furnas Valley, continue along the north coast, visiting the Gorreana tea factory, the only one of its kind in Europe, where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the tea plantation and the north coast, sipping a cup of tea. Returning to Ponta Delgada, stop at the viewpoint of Santa Iria, with an idyllic view on the north coast of the Island, followed by the return to Ponta Delgada with drop off in the respective accommodations.
